			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Green Chemistry is defined as &#8220;the design of chemical products and processes that reduce or eliminate the use and generation of hazardous substances.&#8221;  It is the science, and art, through which chemists and chemical engineers are redesigning the human economy to meet our sustainable challenges.  Dr. Paul Anastas, a founder of the field of green chemistry, now serves as a Professor in the Practice of Green Chemistry, and as the director of the Center for Green Chemistry &amp; Green Engineering, at Yale University.</p>
